Overview
Pre-game and post-game playlists are configured in the Automated Game Plan within the LIGR Automation platform. Pre-game playlists run before the match starts and typically include team lineups, match preview graphics, sponsor advertisements, and countdown timers that loop until kickoff. Post-game playlists trigger automatically when the match ends and include final score graphics, match summary statistics, player of the match, and post-game sponsor ads that play through once.
You'll use pre-game and post-game playlists when you want to automate broadcast presentation before and after matches without manual graphic control.
Prerequisites
* Access to the LIGR Automation platform
* A game plan with configured Pre-Game and Post-Game sections
* Pre-game graphics (lineups, team sheets, countdown) designed in FUSE
* Post-game graphics (final score, summary, player of the match) designed in FUSE
How to Configure the Pre-Game Playlist
1. Open your game plan in the Automation platform
2. Navigate to the Pre-Game section
3. This playlist runs before the match starts and typically includes team lineups, match preview graphics, sponsor advertisements, and a countdown to kickoff
4. Add the team lineup graphic by clicking Add Item to Sequence
5. The lineup graphic automatically pulls lineup data from the match configuration
6. Include a match preview graphic showing key statistics like head-to-head record, league position, and recent form
7. Configure sponsor graphics to rotate during the pre-game period
8. Set the rotation interval and order for sponsor ads
9. Pre-game playlists typically loop their content until the match kicks off — configure looping behaviour appropriately

2. This playlist triggers automatically when the match ends
3. Add the final score graphic as the first item
4. Include match summary statistics
5. Add player of the match graphic
6. Add post-game sponsor advertisements
7. Post-game playlists play through once — put the most important items (final score, key stats) first
Setting Timing and Transitions
1. Configure how long each graphic displays in the playlist
2. Set transition timing between items
3. Pre-game graphics typically loop until kickoff
4. Post-game items play through once
5. Set appropriate durations for each item
Testing the Full Game Flow
1. Preview the complete game plan from pre-game through to post-game
2. Verify the pre-game playlist runs and loops correctly
3. Check that the live section triggers on match start
4. Confirm the post-game playlist activates when the match ends
5. Test the transition from pre-game to live gameplay to ensure there's no gap or overlap
Tips
* Pre-game is prime advertising time — viewers are tuning in early with no gameplay to compete for attention
* Include a countdown-to-kickoff graphic in the pre-game playlist to keep viewers engaged
* Post-game playlists can include match highlights data if integrated with your data feed
