Overview

Graphics overlay billing is limited to a specific time window around your match. Charges only apply within the 10-minute period before match start through 10 minutes after match end. Time is deducted from your Graphics or Graphics and Brands balance based on how long the overlay is active during this window.

The overlay is considered "active" when the Production Link URL is pasted into production switching software (vMix, OBS, etc.) or when the URL is pasted into automatic camera user interfaces that integrate with LIGR. Once active, time is deducted from your balance for the feature currently in use.

How the Billing Window Works

Billing for graphics overlay usage is restricted to a 20-minute window around the match:

* Starts: 10 minutes before the scheduled match start time

* Ends: 10 minutes after the match ends

Time outside this window is not billed, even if the Production Link URL is active in your production software.

Billing Examples

Example 1: Loading overlay 30 minutes before match

If you load the Production Link 30 minutes before the match, you are only charged for the final 10 minutes before match start. The first 20 minutes do not count toward your balance.

Example 2: Loading overlay exactly at match start

If you load the overlay exactly when the match begins, charging starts from that moment and continues until the match ends plus 10 minutes.

Example 3: Deleting the Production Link immediately after match

Charging is capped at 10 minutes after the match ends. You can delete the Production Link as soon as the match completes to stop billing immediately, rather than waiting for the 10-minute post-match window to elapse.

When Time is Deducted

Overlay time is deducted when:

* The Production Link URL is pasted into production switching software (vMix, OBS, LiveView)

* The Production Link URL is active in automatic camera user interfaces that integrate with LIGR

* The overlay is live on a LIGR-hosted stream

Time deduction begins the moment the URL becomes active and continues until you remove the URL from your production software or stop the LIGR stream.

Minimizing Overlay Billing

To minimize overlay billing time:

* Delete the Production Link immediately after the match completes instead of waiting for the 10-minute post-match window

* Remove the Production Link URL from your production software (vMix, OBS) as soon as the match ends

* Stop LIGR streams promptly when the match finishes

Checking Your Usage

To view your overlay usage:

1. Click the Profile icon in the bottom left corner

2. Select Usage

3. Review the Overlay Time column for each match

The Usage page shows exactly how long each overlay was active during the billing window. You can filter by date range, competition, or team to review usage patterns.

Balance Indicators

Your remaining Graphics and Graphics and Brands hours are visible from the Matches tab and Dashboard tab. These indicators show how much overlay time you have remaining in your account balance.

View detailed usage in Profile > Billing > Usage tab to track consumption and plan ahead for additional hour purchases.
