Use Consistent Naming Conventions
Use a consistent naming system that includes the sponsor name, season, and placement type. For example: "RocketApp_2025_Halftime". This becomes critical when managing many ad sets across multiple competitions.
Upload All Seven Sizes at Once
Drag and drop multiple files together and LIGR will position each automatically based on dimensions, saving time on individual uploads. Each ad set requires seven images in specific sizes: Square (300×300px), Small (510×150px), Banner (1920×140px), Landscape (1000×200px), Portrait (500×250px), Leaderboard (1000×100px), and Custom (varies).
Use Canva for Asset Creation
The Canva integration loads the correct dimensions for each size automatically, eliminating resizing errors. When uploading images, you can use the Canva integration which automatically positions each image in the correct size slot based on its dimensions.
Delegate to Clubs Where Possible
Delegating ad slots to clubs through the Club Portal reduces your administrative workload and gives sponsors direct control over their assets. When a slot is delegated to the home or away club, the club uploads their ad set through the Club Portal and it displays automatically for their matches without any action required from you.
Use Analytics for Sponsor Reporting
Total displays, average duration, and screen share percentage are all available in the Analytics tab and make a strong case for sponsorship renewal. The Analytics tab tracks ad performance across all your broadcasts, including total number of displays per ad set, average display duration, screen share percentage, performance graphs broken down per match, and performance breakdown across all competitions.
Test Before Match Day
Set up a test match and run through your playlists to confirm ad slots are displaying correctly before going live. This ensures that ads appear as expected and helps identify any configuration issues before the actual broadcast.
