Moments are short tagged clips within a Match Recording that you can use as the building blocks for Highlights and Compilations in LIGR Live.
What Moments Are Used For
Moments let you mark specific points in a Match Recording so you can quickly find, review, and repurpose key parts of a match. Once created, Moments can be:
• Turned into individual Highlights
• Combined into a Compilation
• Shared or downloaded from the Multimedia tab
Moments differ from auto-generated Highlights because you create them manually from the full Match Recording, giving you full control over what gets clipped and when.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
• A completed Match with a Match Recording available
• Access to the Multimedia tab in the left sidebar
• Permissions to view and edit media (Owner, Admin, User, or Media Viewer roles with edit rights)
Creating a Moment

1. Click the Multimedia tab in the left sidebar.

2. Add a title or tag to describe the Moment (for example, the event type or player involved).
3. Save the Moment to add it to the recording's Moments list.

Step 4: Review Your Moments
All Moments you create are listed alongside the Match Recording. From here you can:
• Preview each Moment
• Edit start and end points
• Rename or re-tag them
• Delete ones you no longer need
Turning Moments into Highlights and Compilations
Once your Moments are saved, you can:
• Promote a Moment into a standalone Highlight
• Select multiple Moments and combine them into a Compilation
Both options are available from the Multimedia tab under their respective sections.

Tips
• Keep Moment titles consistent (for example, "Goal - Player Name - 24'") so they're easy to sort later.
• Trim Moments tightly around the action to keep Highlights and Compilations sharp.
• Create Moments for sponsor-worthy events as well as match events — they're useful for post-match content.
• You can create Moments at any time after the match ends, as long as the Match Recording is still available.
Common Issues
The Match Recording isn't showing up. Recordings can take a few minutes to finalise after a match ends. Check back shortly, and confirm the Match was set to record during setup.
I can't edit or create Moments. Your user role may not have edit permissions for Multimedia. Contact your Owner or Admin to adjust your access.
My Moment doesn't appear in Highlights. Creating a Moment doesn't automatically create a Highlight. You need to promote it to a Highlight from the Moments list.
The start and end points won't save. Make sure the end point is after the start point and that both fall within the Match Recording's duration.
