Moments are short tagged clips within a match recording that you can capture live and later use to build Highlights and Compilations in LIGR Live.
What Are Moments?
Moments are time-stamped markers placed on a match recording. Each Moment represents a noteworthy piece of action — a goal, a great save, a try, a big play — and becomes a clip you can review, edit, and turn into a Highlight after the match.
Creating Moments during a live match is the fastest way to build a library of shareable clips without having to scrub through the full recording later.
Before You Start
Make sure the following are in place:
• The Match has been created under a Competition
• The Match is live and actively recording
• You have the correct permission level (Owner, Admin, User, or Gameday Operator)

Creating Moments During a Live Match
There are two main ways Moments can be created during a Match: automatically from Match Facts captured in the LiveScore App, and manually from the Control Room or match view.
Option 1: Moments Created Automatically from Match Facts
When a Live Scorer records Match Facts in the LiveScore App — such as goals, cards, or substitutions — these events are time-stamped against the match recording and become Moments automatically.
1. Open the LiveScore App and sign in
2. Select the active Match
3. Record Match Facts as they happen (goal, card, substitution, etc.)
4. Each recorded event creates a corresponding Moment on the match recording

Option 2: Creating Moments Manually
If you want to tag a piece of action that isn't tied to a Match Fact — for example a big tackle, a near miss, or a crowd reaction — you can create a Moment manually.
1. Open the live Match in LIGR Live
2. Go to the Moments area of the match view
3. When the action you want to capture happens, trigger a new Moment
4. Give the Moment a name or label so you can find it easily later
5. Save the Moment

Reviewing and Editing Moments
Moments can be reviewed at any time during or after the Match.
• Open the Match and go to the Moments list
• Select a Moment to preview the clip
• Adjust the in and out points to trim the clip
• Rename or re-tag the Moment if needed
Once you are happy with your Moments, you can combine them into a Compilation or publish them as individual Highlights.
Tips
• Create Moments generously during the Match — it is easier to delete or ignore a Moment later than to search through the full recording for a missed piece of action
• Use clear, descriptive names so Moments are easy to find when building Compilations
• If you are working with a Live Scorer, agree in advance who is responsible for capturing manual Moments so nothing is missed
• Check that the Match is actively recording before relying on Moments — if the recording isn't running, Moments cannot be captured
Common Issues
Moments aren't appearing on the recording Confirm the Match is live and recording. Moments can only be tagged against an active match recording.
Match Facts from the LiveScore App aren't creating Moments Check that the LiveScore App is connected to the correct Match and that events are saving successfully. Lost connectivity can delay or prevent Match Facts from syncing.
A Moment is in the wrong place on the timeline Open the Moment and adjust the in and out points to align with the correct action.
