Overview
When you edit a compilation by deleting highlights or adjusting lead/lag times, those changes are provisional until you click Regenerate Video. The compilation won't update without this step. This is the most common reason edited compilations don't show your changes.
Why Changes Don't Appear Automatically
After making any changes to a compilation—whether you delete highlights, adjust lead/lag timing, or reorder clips—the system stores those edits but doesn't immediately apply them to the video file. The compilation must be regenerated to create a new video file that includes your modifications.
How to Apply Your Changes
1. Navigate to Multimedia > Compilations > Videos tab
2. Click on the compilation you edited to open full-screen view
3. Make your edits (delete highlights, adjust lead/lag, etc.)
4. Click Regenerate Video in the top right corner
5. Wait for the compilation to re-render
The regeneration process creates a new video file with all your changes applied. Until you click Regenerate Video and wait for processing to complete, the original version remains active.
Common Editing Actions That Require Regeneration
* Deleting individual highlights from the compilation
* Adjusting lead or lag times on specific clips
* Reordering highlights within the compilation
* Any modification made in the compilation editor
What Happens During Regeneration
When you click Regenerate Video, the system processes all your edits and renders a completely new video file. This takes time depending on the compilation length and number of highlights included. You'll see processing status while the regeneration runs.
Once regeneration completes, your edited compilation replaces the previous version and all changes are visible.
