Disable Hardware Acceleration
The most effective fix is to disable VLC’s hardware acceleration:
Open VLC Media Player
Navigate to Tools > Preferences
Go to Input/Codecs
Locate Hardware-accelerated decoding and set it to Disable
Click Save and restart VLC
